picnic in holland park with my friends

Well really they are the children of Mummy and Daddy's friends! But we had a nice time playing with my red ball, and everyone had scooters and we ate grapes and strawberries.

Making bread

I made some bread, mixed it, kneaded it, waited for it to rise, punched it, then baked it. It was yummy.

Springtime in my garden

I have really been enjoying the unseasonably warm weather in London over the last two weeks. I have spent lots of time playing outside in the sunshine and just on my scooter out and about generally. These are photos taken in my garden.

I made this one

Auntie Bryony's birthday

I went for dinner with Mummy and my Aunties on a Friday night to celebrate Auntie Bydi's birthday. We had pizza at Marine Ices and then I had chocolate ice cream. It was actually a bit rich so I decided to eat Clare's pink sorbet instead.

Say cheese!

On Easter Saturday we went to visit Syon House and then had lunch in Richmond. In the shop at Syon House I bought some butterfly stickers and a monkey for my friend Charlie. Daddy and I did lots of running around the gardens and I got quite tired very quickly, so had to be carried.

Daddy bought me a pink "gooter" with flashing lights for my Easter present. Its quite hard but I will get really good at it. For now its okay if Daddy holds it and pushes me along. I stuck my butterfly stickers on it to personalise it.

Mummy bought me a Pingu DVD and I need to watch it most of the time when I am home. As a result the Pingu theme tune is constant hum in Mummy's head and she even dreams about Pingu. I love Pingu.

at the Easter fairground

Good Friday:
I went to my first funfair ever, in Hampstead Heath. Everything looked really exciting and brightly coloured and noisy and I felt quite brave about it all when looking.

I chose the big bouncy slide to go on first. This is a picture of Bear and me quite liking it, but on the third go I changed my mind at the top and couldn't get down. I didn't want to go down the slide or down the rubber steps and Mummy and Daddy looked really far away. Grown ups werent allowed up there. I was a bit scared. After much angst and tears I made it down the steps into Mummy's arms and it was ok again.

Immediately I wanted to try another ride, but once on the horse it was a similar story. It went too fast and didn't stop when I wanted it to. It was not at all like the roundabout in the playground. At least Daddy went with me to hold me tight. After that, I wanted more but Mummy said no....so we had some cotton candy instead. I took quite a lot of persuading to even try that floaty pink fluff but once I had - it was mine, all mine.
