Bank Holiday Sunday in Brighton

we went to Bridget & Mark's party on Sunday so spent a few hours wandering about the Laines in Brighton. I went on the merry go round in this big red bus - all by myself and I didnt cry. the amazing stretch pants are the ones which Daddy and Uncle Angus are going to wear in Ibiza when we all go there next week.

Sophie-Mofie

Seaford Esplanade

Our tour of English seaside resorts continues. The ice cream here was pretty good actually and alot better than the one from Southwold pier.

the slide that Pappy & Mummy built

that Sophie thinks she is so cute, well she cant do the Cute Face that I can do

"what about poor Scarlett?"

Baby-Shrek?

That was my most over used phrase last week
.
Whenever Mummy gave Sophie any attention, I piped up with my mournful cry. If that doesn't grab Mummy's attention back, I invariably decide that I need to do poos-on-loos as soon as Sophie starts feeding. I am also getting good use of this face here which was where I cried for 20 minutes because I was thirsty and there was no pub in sight (many readers may sympathise, as this is a nation of drinkers), and then when we got to the pub Sophie wanted a drink too AND got her drink first.
Both Sophie and I decided to wail at full volume outside this lovely pub where grown-ups were trying to wind down from work stresses on a sunny Friday evening. I think Mummy was a bit embarrassed and Daddy was pretending he wasnt really there. Infact at one point it looked like he was trying to join another group of drinkers.
Good thing the no children in pubs rule of yesteryear has gone.

good old english beach holiday

a beautiful day, sun beating down and not a cloud in the sky, so we headed off to Southwold and we were prepared. I had my costume, strawberry towel, bucket, spade, starfish, sun cream, a chair for mummy and a big jumper. We didnt make it onto the sand as the wind was too blowy and too cold. So we walked on the pier (I didnt walk coz I had my buggy board) watched the Punch & Judy show and then bought an ice cream. The wind and the ice cream together meant we had to huddle for warmth somewhere, and that old grey shed did the job.

we ate lots on our suffolk holiday

I just love the chipolatas from the Orford butchers: I ate twice as many as uncle Jack did.

sunny back garden

All the family (almost) L to R is Mummy, Uncle Jack, Aunt Clare, Daddy, Me, Pappy and Sophie. What's happened to Mummy's hair - she has straighteners, she should use them.
